RED CARPET MONITOR: “Argo”, “Lincoln” among AFI’s Top Ten of 2012

The American Film Institute announced it’s top ten films of the year a few days ago, and it was a list of films that are considered the frontrunners for Oscar. No big surprises, a bit disappointed that the list didn’t include some surefire faves on my list including “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower” and “Killer Joe“, but otherwise it’s a pretty good, if predictable, list.

AFI’s Top Ten Movies for 2012

ARGO
BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
DJANGO UNCHAINED
LES MISÉRABLES
LIFE OF PI
LINCOLN
MOONRISE KINGDOM
SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK
ZERO DARK THIRTY
