Legendary Z-boys skateboarder turned filmmaker Stacy Peralta is at it again. After spotlighting the beginnings of modern-day skateboarding in Dogtown And Z-Boys, this time, he turns the camera on the skateboarding team he helped put together in the 1980s that pushed the sport even further towards what it is today. Led by young Lance Mountain and Tony Hawk, the Bones Brigade became a legend and this is their story. The film premiered at Sundance this past January and has been called one of the greatest documentaries of all time by some…and it is. Now on DVD at http://bonesbrigade.com and in select theatres nationwide and around the world. If you’re a skateboarding fan, you’re gonna love it – if you’re not a fan, you will be by the end of this film…guarantee that…and catch my full review on this weekend’s edition of Subject:CINEMA!
